You are setting sail without the captain on board....which means, once again you will just drift along randomly without a set destination or course of action, without deciding what you want to achieve. You may set out with the Bahamas in mind, and end up in Antarctica....yet again. In other words, you are just setting yourself up for yet another failure......and this is heart-breaking.

So, if you are truly serious about aiming at overcoming depression and end up in a sunny, idyllic place, then firstly make the decision that that is exactly what you are intending! Success.

To decide means that there are no alternative options and that is because success is the ONLY option....and you need to decide to do it no matter what.

Once you have decided to create success in overcoming depression in your life, you need to make your goal crystal clear. You need to see what you are trying to achieve. What does your life look life without depression?

You also need to feel what it will be like to achieve this. Evoke the emotion related to it. You will not create success without the passion to do so. You decision must stir your emotions.

Also, ensure that your decision inspires action. If you are truly passionate about your decision it will inspire you to take action even when things are tough and you don’t feel like it.

So...in summary, to successfully uncovering and overcoming depression, your must first "decide" to uncover it. And then, as part of the recovery process, you must "commit" to the decision and the process, and you must "take action".
