Now remember.....when you are stuck in the bog of depression.....you are going to have to learn some new skills to get you out.....because clearly.....what you are currently doing isn't working. And frankly....as lovely as it would be to have our own personal helper who has dedicated their human life 100% to rescuing you.....this ain't gunna happen!! It is up to each of us to learn the skills to create the life we want....one that is passionate and fulfilling. If you are depressed....then it is definitely time for some new skills.

If we want different results, we are going to have to do something differently.

As you have probably realised by now, it is vitally important to first of all sort out what is making you depressed, and to face up to it. Then, you need to be very determined in a fair way to alter the situation. Make the decision and committing to change is essential. You can get over this if you put your mind to it. (Be aware of this.....ask yourself....does your mind want to get over this.....or is it still wanting someone else to do it for you?)
Lying beneath all states of dis-ease are particular mental and emotional attitudes and beliefs. These are what need to be eliminated for you to move forward.
These are the belief systems that are usually underlying depression :
Repressed anger, and underneath that extreme grief
The bog - no movement
Stasis
Devoid of colour
Life is on hold
Replacement Thinking and Beliefs :
This will be had at first, and will seem far to bubbly and bright for your liking. Initially your mind will probably struggle with this big time!
Visualise YELLOW and repeat the following affirmations. As you do, keeping your head still, rotate your eyes in a circle....up left down right, and so on. Your eye positions relate to different parts of your brain....so this is an easy way to clear brain blockages.
It's safe for me to move forward in life
It is safe for me to move to the rhythm of life
It is safe to change
All things are bright, colourful and beautiful
I can feel the joy and delight bubbling up within me
